About the Author
Freddie is a consultant, researcher, and editor-in-chief of the TikBoost blog, specialising in social media, marketing, and digital strategy. A proud graduate of the University of Manchester, Freddie went on to earn his MBA from the University of Edinburgh's Business School, with a specialisation in Digital Innovation and Technology Management.
Freddie began his career at one of the United Kingdom's most prominent consulting firms, where he quickly carved out a reputation as a forward-thinking expert in the application of machine learning and emerging technologies to social media marketing. He became the firm's leading authority on the subject, playing a key role in developing high-impact social media campaigns for a wide range of FTSE 100 companies across the UK and Europe.
Driven by a passion for research and innovation, Freddie stepped into academia as a lecturer at University College London (UCL), where his groundbreaking work in social media analytics and digital strategy earned him widespread recognition as one of the UK's foremost experts in the field. His research has been published in leading academic journals and prominent publications, and he has shared his insights on broadcast platforms including the BBC and Sky News.
Freddie was subsequently recruited by a major social media platform, where he served as Vice President of Research and Development, leading initiatives that shaped the future of digital engagement across the UK and beyond. He later joined TikBoost as our social media marketing consultant, editor-in-chief, and chief author.
Freddie is central to everything we do at TikBoost — overseeing the quality of our products and services, editing the TikBoost blog, producing research-driven content focused on Instagram and TikTok, and moderating our podcasts on social media marketing and the ever-growing influence of artificial intelligence in the digital space. He also pioneered TikBoost's industry-first advanced AI Instagram comments service.
Outside of work, Freddie enjoys cycling and hiking in the British countryside, and he lives in the South of England with his partner, two children, and a very energetic Labrador.
